BSG provides a mechanism to manage the lifecycle of the intellectual property assets created by Howard Campbell and to ensure he receives all the royalties owed to him when his work is used, or his images and books are reproduced.
In 1311, England established the Friars Church in Berkshire, a southeast England County west of London. Berkshire was recognized by the Queen as the Royal County of Berkshire in 1957 because of the presence of Windsor Castle, and letters of patent were issued in 1974, three years after the birth of Howard Campbell, a budding polymath. The legal protection offered to the County of Berkshire via letters of patent is provided this budding polymath with a key insight: intellectual property laws may be leveraged for value creation, protection, and extraction. This simple action by Queen Elizabeth II was a call to action for a youngster searching for opportunities.
In the early 1990s, this budding polymath, Howard Campbell, developed a simple business idea: create intellectual property, protect it, determine its value, and identify and pursue avenues to extract the value contained. Later, in 2008, Howard Campbell was registered as a trademark on the island of Jamaica to distinguish his services in the marketplace and create more value.
In 2023, with 1000+ IP assets in his portfolio, Howard Campbell reimagined his approach to intellectual property management. He created a new entity —Berkshire Services Group (bsg) — to manage the lifecycle of the assets in his IP portfolio. Headquartered in Asia with operations in North America and the Caribbean, bsg is poised to help Howard Campbell discover the possibilities.
